Application of Semantic Web Technologies for (Semi-)Automatic Metadata Generation for Multimedia Data
This masters thesis discusses the application of Semantic Web technologies to the automatic metadata, generation and annotation process for multimedia data. It describes the architecture of a generic semantic problem solving platform that uses independent algorithms to accomplish subtasks. A holistic vision on the metadata request harnesses more advanced problems, enabling the algorithms to interact with the solution as it is generated.
